2019 Shiraz Basket Press Merlot some gentle almond savouriness andFruit from a single vineyard, traditionally made, 15 months in oak. Amazingly intense royal purple colour in the glass. The oak appears first on the nose. There's a heap going on here with dark fruits and berries, a fabulous shot of licorice and further spices through the palate. It's all held in place by the tannins, presentable yet pliable. Intense yet with a artisan touch. Tasting notes by Tony Love Halliday Wine Companion Silver 94 Points Halliday
